Under our composite score, Christ Church Primary School, Hampstead is the highest-ranked primary school and Michaela Community School is the highest-ranked secondary school in London. The score blends Ofsted inspection, attainment, progress and engagement into one A to F grade, weighted by data completeness. Independent and special schools are listed by Ofsted rating rather than scored.

Because they are measured on different things: primary schools on Key Stage 2 SATs, secondary schools on GCSE results and Progress 8.
